A text summarizer for the ideas worth keeping.
A text summarizer condenses a longer source into its essential ideas. FrontierTools offers paragraph and bullet formats with Short, Balanced, and Detailed length options, helping you create a draft summary that you can compare with the original.
Choose paragraphs or bullet points
Paragraph mode produces a flowing explanation that can be useful for reading notes or an overview. Bullet mode separates ideas into points that are easier to scan. Select the format that helps your next task rather than assuming that the shortest output is the most useful.
Short focuses on the central message, Balanced includes more supporting context, and Detailed retains additional important details. These are approximate length directions. The displayed reduction is calculated from the actual input and output word counts, not an accuracy or quality score.
Summarize a source you can verify
Paste an article, notes, or a draft into the preview. Choose a format and length, continue to the workspace, and sign in before generating. The summary streams into a separate editor where you can revise or copy the completed result.
Check whether the summary retains the source’s main claim, limitations, and level of certainty. Compare names, dates, numerical results, and any disagreement between sources. A useful summary should not turn a possibility into a fact or omit a condition that changes the conclusion.
Know what a summary leaves out
Input must contain at least 20 words and no more than 3,000 words or 20,000 characters. The tool summarizes the text you provide; it does not fetch an article from a URL or independently research the topic. Text is sent to an AI service and is not saved to your FrontierTools account.
Summarizing deliberately removes detail, and an AI system can also make mistakes. Keep the original available, especially when preparing study notes, professional reports, or material that will be shared with others. Cite the original source when using its ideas, even if you rewrite or shorten them.

A four-week schedule trial improved attendance, but feedback on start times will inform the final decision.
Common questions about summarizer
Can I summarize a web link?
Paste the article text rather than a URL. The tool does not retrieve external pages.
Is the summary length exact?
No. Short, Balanced, and Detailed are approximate targets. You can edit the completed output to fit a specific requirement.
Does it add new information?
It is instructed to summarize only the supplied source, but you should still check for unsupported claims or omitted qualifications.
